BioNot exactly the name I was looking for, but happy_atheist was already taken apparently.
Many people, it would appear, who are religiously inclined seem to be under the impression that all atheists are mean, depressed, bitter people who would sooner commit suicide than admit that there is or might be a god. Not all, but many; certainly enough to be sending outspoken "celebrity" atheists mail ranging from the consolling (while at the same time trying [and failing] to make the reciever of the message feel like an idiot for what s/he believes) to the threatening (you know, like threatening to murder all atheists).
I'm a videographer living near Seattle where I work for a budding film company. Said company has recently been given $1.3 million for their next two low budget movies and soon I'll be working with them to make my own short films and music videos. Really, I have little to be depressed or angry about. I'm more than content, I'm quite happy and cheerful (cheerful_atheist was too long).
(More will be added later, including what you can expect from this journal; like links to essays or videos, or cool websites. I might also mention a book or two that I find interesting or somesuch...Actually I think all that pretty much does sum everything up.)
